My Family in the Texas Bluebonnets | Dallas/Ft. Worth Family Photographer

First portraits as a family of 3 and better yet in the Texas Bluebonnets!  When this new mommy contacted me she was so excited to have a session in the these beautiful flowers.  Her little guy wasn't so crazy about the wind but he did great!

Spring is my favorite season of the year and I always look forward to the end of March, early April for Bluebonnet season.  This year I offered Spring Mini-Sessions in the Bluebonnets.  It was a bit of a challenge this year to find decent patches as the Bluebonnets were a bit late to bloom, at least compared to last year.   I was so excited to get to work with this beautiful family again, I last saw them in December when their daughter was born.  She has gotten so big, we had to work to capture smiles from her, she was so intrigued by the array of color and people in the field.

A sweet new baby brother 13 days new!  His big sister and big brother are quite proud as well as mommy and daddy.  I look forward to watching him grow over his 1st year!

Having your 1st born child is exciting for the whole family!  While you may be experiencing sleepless nights and adjusting to a new baby, it's also an amazing time.  Don't let it slip away before you capture your new baby's portraits.  Babies change and grow so fast!  This cutie was nearly 6 weeks old and I'm amazed how well he did to capture "newborn" like images.  His mommy, daddy, and grandma are quite proud!
