My baby's 1st Year Program includes 3 sessions, newborn, 6/7 months when baby sits up on their own, and 12 months. Plus a set of birth announcements and a final 10x20 mounted storyboard/college after your final session.

1st Day of School | Child & Family Photographer in DFW, TX

As I mentioned in my "Back to School" post, the Summer passed too quickly! This morning I sent off my oldest as a 2nd grader and my youngest as a kindergartener. They were so excited to be in school together! They only were in 1 year of preschool together and now will get to be in elementary for 4 school years together! As we walked up to school we ran into one of their pre-k teachers (they had the same teachers). It was definitely bittersweet and made me really hold back tears! She took a photo to share with their other pre-k teacher.

Off they go on their Mirco Scooters!

First we walked down the kindergarten hallway to take little sister to class. She quickly put her things away and started playing with the print pink playdough on her desk.

Then off we went to the 2nd grade hallway, my oldest was excited to see one of her good friends from kindergarten. They even had their seats next to each other. There was a packet on her desk to fill out. As I left she was arranging her things inside her pencil bag.

It felt strange to leave both of them at school this year. We are entering a new chapter and closing an old one.

6 Days New | Lewisville/Flower Mound, TX Newborn Photographer

This pretty princess was 6 days new and one of the tiniest newborns I've photographed. She is very well loved already by her extended family as they have already come from out of state to meet her! It wasn't long ago that I took her parents maternity portraits.

Back to School | Flower Mound, TX Child Photographer

School starts back in 1 week! It feels like the Summer flew by way to quickly. It's been a bitter sweet time as our baby will start kindergarten, sniff sniff. She is very excited to be joining her big sister at the same school and has been counting down the days. Big sister will begin the 2nd grade, it's so hard to believe it's been 2 years since our first born went off to elementary. My blog was a little quiet last week as we crammed in as much fun as we could as this week is scheduled with appointments and school related events.

This old school desk was given to me years ago and had been left out for the trash. It's become our "Back to School" tradition to take some quick themed portraits.

E. is ready for 2nd grade and excited to see her friends!

S. can't wait to see some of her preschool friends who will be joining her at her new elementary!

She is proud of herself for keeping up with reading and writing this Summer.

My hours will be changing the week of August 25th, I will be offering sessions Monday-Friday in the mornings as well as the weekend.

6 Days New | Denton County Maternity and Newborn Photographer

This handsome baby boy was an amazing sleeper during his session! Mom and Dad provided the adorable newsboy hat and pants/suspender outfit as well as the cute elephant. I took his mommy and daddy's maternity portraits earlier this Summer. He was predicted to be a big baby and he sure was weighing in at 9 lbs. 1 oz.
