I had a great time playing with these two cuties at the park! Both of these boys recently had birthdays turning 2 and 1. At these ages they are constantly on the go and exploring their environment. They'll stop for a quick moment for a sweet smile.

Bluebonnets are here! | Dallas/Ft. Worth Texas Family & Child Photographer
Bluebonnet season is upon us! If you are a born and raised Texan like myself you likely have childhood memories of picture taking in these beautiful flowers. Or if you are a Texas implant you'll quickly absorb this fun tradition.
I love this season of wildflowers along our highways, it's a gorgeous array of color!
Book your Bluebonnet portrait session today before it's too late! They only last a few weeks.

Spring has Sprung! | DFW area photographer
My favorite season of the year has arrived! Leaves are sprouting, buds are forming and opening into a beautiful array of color.
Last week my 2 daughters and I met up with my best friend and her 4 children and headed to Dallas Blooms at the Dallas Arboretum. It's been a few years since we last went together and my oldest was only a few months old back then. I had plans on attempting "Easter Portraits" but that plan failed! The children just had too much fun running around and the ground was still moist from recent rain, so we just let them be children.
Tulips are my 2nd favorite flower next to roses.

Happy 3rd birthday little princess | Dallas/Ft. Worth/Flower Mound Child Portrait Photographer
My Little Princess turns 3 today! It's amazing how quickly the time flies. My midwife estimated she would arrive early and she proved everyone wrong. She took us by surprise going 10 days over her due date.
Here 3 favorite things are:
Dress-Up
Tricycle Riding
Chocolate
Stay tuned for her Princess Party!
This crown is from Miss Ruby Sue
Crown from my shop Robin's Nest Boutique
So serious, she had this same expression on her face when she was born.

Displaying your portraits | DFW Photographers
I see each portrait as a piece of art for your home. It can be difficult to decide on the right size and often it's best to purchase larger than you think you need. Here is an example below that a larger piece works best.

1st Haircut | Flower Mound Child Photographer
I don't post many personal posts but thought this was worth sharing.
Most 1st haircuts take place in the 1st year or 2 but with both my daughter's I waited until almost age 3. My youngest daughter's hair has been slow growing compared to big sister so I put it off until now. I decided it was a good idea to go ahead and have the ends trimmed in hopes it will start growing faster. So on Friday we went to a local child hair salon for her 1st haircut/trim! Of course we have to take photos of this milestone.
Here are some snaps from the occasion!
So serious!
All done!
