This is from a session back in October with my best friend's daughter in her Christening gown who was 7 months old at the time.  I actually took her 1st birthday portraits yesterday which I'll be sharing a sneak peek of those soon.  These were taken after her brother's 3 year portraits.  We had planned on a re-do b/c baby L was very tired.  Well it never happened, time and illness got in the way.  I recently decided to look back through them and found that despite no smiles they are beautiful of her.  The setting was perfect with the waterfall behind her. 

Check out these leaves in the creek, when we arrived in this spot there were some on the sides and then they covered the water.

I couldn't resist sharing this one, we had her and the basket positioned where the water was pretty and then she started crying. =-(

Sneak Peek-Baby #3 on the Way | Dallas/Ft. Worth Maternity Photographer

This fun loving family is expecting baby #3 due at the end of the month.  Mom and Dad sure create adorable children and I'm betting their newest addition will be just as cute!  I can't wait for their newborn session.  It's been 14 months since I've seen them last capturing their daughter's newborn portraits.

Family on Spring Break | Lantana and DFW, TX Family Photographer

This beautiful large family of 6 was visiting their grandparents from out of town for Spring Break.  I had the opportunity to take their portraits this week.  These children have beautiful skin tones and were full of energy!  It was a joy to work with them.

Happy 4th Birthday to E! | Flower Mound, TX Child Photographer

My daughter E. turned 4 on the 16th! I attempted to take her 4 year portraits a couple weekends ago but it was quite cold with a windchill so we'll have to try on a warmer day. I was able to capture a few and then some natural window light portraits today.  This year we had a "Candyland" themed birthday party to celebrate. It was a lot of work for mommy but a lot of fun too! I made her hair bow, cupcakes, cake, pinata, and invitations.

Little Miss. L is growing up fast, she is one of my baby planners and also my best friend's daughter.  I've been photographing her since she was a newborn, check out her Newborn and  3 Month portraits!

Happy 18 months, sweet baby girl! | Flower Mound, TX toddler photographer

My own daughter turned 18 months a little over a week ago, as other parents of 18 month olds or who have had a child at this age know the terrible 2's begin around this time.  We've had a few tantrums here and there for a couple months now but overall she's a joy!  To keep her busy I decided to do another apple session like I did with her older sister.  She had a lot of fun biting into 3 different apples.





I think some of my favorite features of baby's and toddler's are their little fingers and toes, so sweet!
