Choosing your location is an important part of your family &/or child's portraits. Think carefully of the style you are wanting or maybe a location that describes your family.
Do you want Urban or Modern?
Old or Rustic?
Rural?
There are endless opportunities of locations that can be used for your portraits, especially in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. However be mindful of private property and get permission before you use it. There also may be fees that you need to consider with some park locations.
Urban or Modern
Town centers, downtown areas, shopping centers, theater or art districts can be fun.

Flower Mound in particular has a long list of parks and trails including Lake Grapevine. Gardens also make a great backdrop.
