I Heart Faces "Beach Fun" Photo Challenge | DFW area, TX child Photographer

I was excited to see the new photo challenge theme for this week, "Beach Fun" from I Heart Faces. I've shared this image previously after my family's 1st Beach Vacation to South Padre Island that was cut short due to Hurricane Alex back in June. I love this shot of my daughter experiencing beach sand for the 1st time. To change it up a bit I tried a different processing technique this time.

I Heart Faces Purple Challenge | Flower Mound, TX Portrait Photographer

This week on I Heart Faces, the photo challenge theme is "Purple", I thought how perfect I just took this adorable capture of my best friend's 3 month old beauty with a purple petal hat I made. Since I just posted a similar shot in her Sneak Peek, I thought I'd play with adding a texture to change it up a bit.

Sneak Peek-Fun in the sun with the H. Family | Flower Mound/Highland Village, TX Family Photographer

The H.'s are a fun loving family! After re-scheduling because of stormy weather the previous day we were pleasantly surprised to see the sun shining so bright on Sunday morning.

Vacation | Flower Mound, TX child photographer

Last week my family drove down to the Texas coast (South Padre Island) to enjoy some much needed relaxation on the beach. Unfortunitly Hurricane Alex decided to creap up into the Texas Gulf and it ended our beach vacation 2 days early. Luckily we were able to enjoy a day and a half of beach fun!
