Here is one sneak peek of the beautiful E. Family! We had a great time exploring an old farm in the area.

Precious New Addition | Highland Village/Flower Mound Newborn Photographer
Miss. V. makes baby #3! I shared a sneak peek of this beautiful baby girl last month and haven't had a chance to share more from her session.
I met her sweet mommy through a forum for woman starting families. Each of our 1st born children are just a few weeks apart from each other. They are now ahead of the game with #3! This was mom's dress as an infant, I love it when we include family heirloom pieces.
Sweet siblings, all 3 of these children are so calm and easy!
All hats, cocoons, and headbands seen are from my own Robin's Nest Boutique
If you or someone you know are expecting contact me today to schedule a maternity and newborn session! (940) 453-1362 or E-mail
Old Town Family Fun | Flower Mound/Grapevine Family Photographer
Last Sunday we had the opportunity to meet up with the beautiful B. family! Mandy is also a photographer at Atoy Photography in Ft. Worth, TX. She and I decided to capture each others family holiday portraits. It was a bit crazy with 5 children under 5 but we managed to capture beautiful images of each others family's. We chose downtown Grapevine as our location because there is a wide variety of interesting spots for backdrops. I can't believe how much her baby has grown, he's nearly 9 months old. Check out his newborn portraits I took back in February here.
Look at her 3 sweethearts!

Miracle Baby Turns 1 | Baby's 1st Birthday Photographer, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX
If you follow my blog you likely have seen this little guy make an appearance on my blog a few times throughout his 1st year. Not only is he special because he's my nephew and my sister and brother in-law's first child, he also is a miracle! You see T. was born with the worst form of Spina Bifida, Myelomeningocele. My sister and brother in-law found out about their son's birth defect at their first ultrasound around 20 weeks of pregnancy. Soon after the diagnosis they were given a list of risks such as still birth, hydrocephalus (fluid on the brain) which can cause brain damage, and club feet. The remainder of my sister's pregnancy she was closely monitored. We asked everyone we knew for prayers. God is good because T. was born at 39 weeks on October 28, 2010 a healthy 8 lbs. 8 oz. and 20 1/2''! Due to his birth defect it required a c-section and it all went smoothly. He was stable upon birth and a few hours afterwards was transported to a children's hospital. Less than 24 hrs. after birth he had surgery to have the spinal nerves placed back into the spine. T. was born with a small bubble on his lower spine with the spinal nerves inside. You would never have known, he sports a very small scar that looks like a scratch on his lower back. Dr.'s warned my sister and brother in-law to watch for signs of hydrocephalus, club feet, loss of bladder and/or bowel control, and were told that he may never sit or walk. Well, this big guy of 26 lbs. has beaten all the odds! He has developed perfectly over his 1st year and started walking a few weeks before his birthday! You would never know by looking at T. that he has Spina Bifia. October was Spina Bifia awareness month, go check out their website for more info.
He loves to clap, maybe because he knows he's beaten the odds.
What a difference 1 month and 1 year make! I had to make him a new hat from Robin's Nest Boutique
Senior in the City | DFW, Texas high school senior photographer
While I love photographing babies and children, it was a nice change to get to take my niece's senior portraits! We had a great time exploring interesting backdrops in the city of Austin. C. will be graduating from Hyde Park Baptist in Spring of 2012. It seems like yesterday I met her as a young girl and I feel blessed to have married into a loving family. C.'s parents have been a great sister in-law and brother in-law. I've enjoyed watching her grow and blossom into a beautiful young woman.
Not only is C. a smart young lady she also has musical talents. She enjoys singing and playing an assortment of instruments.
Can you tell we had fun? C. requested a colorful wall and we found one!
