75 Years of Marriage! | Dallas/Ft. Worth Photographer

It's rare to see a couple reach their 75th wedding anniversary, it was an honor to celebrate my husband's grandparents special day this month.  These two have a strong bond and keep each other going.  They enjoy playing cards together and in their youth you'd find them dancing at the local dance hall.

According to Hallmark.com, "The 75th anniversary is the original diamond anniversary and the 60th was added when Queen Victoria (English Empire Monarch) celebrated her Diamond Jubilee on her 60th anniversary of accession to the throne in 1897."

Happy diamond Anniversary!

2012 Graduate | Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas photographer

My niece recently graduated from high school and will be off to college in the Fall.  I had the opportunity to take her senior portraits back in October, it was fun to explore downtown Austin for interesting spots.  Her graduation took place in her schools church sanctuary.  It's a beautiful interior with intricate stain glass.

Red Headed Cutie | Dallas/Ft. Worth Child Portrait Photographer

My nephew turned 19 months last Monday, I don't get to see him much since they live in a different city.  So I took advantage of a quick photo opportunity over Memorial Day weekend.  He's grown and changed since his last portraits at 1 yearHis hair is starting to grow in more and it's definitely red!  He's mastered walking, running, and climbing!  At one year he had just started walking a couple weeks before his birthday which is a miracle!  To read his story check out his 1 year portrait post.
