Puppy Love | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

While I don't specialize in pet photography, I love capturing my own pets as well as clients with their pets.  My sweet lab turned 10 in December and this month marks 10 years since I adopted him.  He was only 7 weeks old and I can still remember his sleepy droopy eyes and puppy breath.  I've had other dogs growing up but he was the first that I raised on my own.  I met my husband when Brodie was 5 months old and he gave a hand in helping train him as well.  He has been the gentlest and sweetest dog.  Brodie also cooperates better than my human children in front of the camera.  He sadly is beginning to suffer from arthritis and beginning stages of cataracts.

Skating Party | Flower Mound, TX child photographer

My daughter turned 7 last week and we had a roller skating party.  It brought a lot of memories of my childhood and enjoying the roller skating rink.  Of course in my day they didn't have these cool trainers and we just to learn to skate without support.  She got it down quickly and was speeding around the rink.

Here are the cupcakes I made for her special day.

 Chocolate
Cake before fondont, this apparently was a retired Wilton cake pan I found on Ebay.  You can change it up to design classic roller skates, roller blades, or an ice-skate.  I'm sure we will use it again for at least an ice-skating party in the future.
After the fondont and decorations.
She was very thirsty after all the roller skating.
Pizza and Cake
Love her skating shirt made by Bow Dacious Baby

7th birthday portraits | Child Photographer in Flower Mound, TX

My baby girl is growing up so fast!  Today we celebrate her 7th birthday, how did the time go so fast?

We hoped over to downtown Grapevine and were surprised with the Christmas decor still up.  They had changed it up a bit this year with pretty white lit Christmas trees and structures.  We pretended we were apart of the movie Frozen to make it more fun.

This sweet new baby decided instead of waiting until after Christmas she would make her appearance Christmas Eve.  She was 9 days new at her session.  I took their maternity portraits back in November.
