Project 52 Week 43 | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

Project 52
Week: 43
Theme: Whatever the Weather

We have had beautiful sunrise and sunsets this year.  This photo was taken with my iPhone as I was rushing out the door and didn't have time to capture the sky with the big camera.

Fall Family Portraits | Flower Mound, TX Family Photographer

Fall and Spring are my two favorite times of the year for taking family portraits.  The weather is usually either cooling down from the summer or warming up from winter.  This beautiful family was so much fun working with to capture their portraits.

Project 52
Week: 42
Theme: Low Light

I can't believe we have only 10 weeks left of 2016!  I've enjoyed doing the Project 52 this year.

This week I struggled to find creativity for the theme of low light.  Then last night my daughter was working on homework in the dark and set up these 3 lanterns around the table.  I thought this was a great opportunity to grab the camera.

Playing with the Pooches | Flower Mound/Highland Village, TX Photographer

Playing with the Pooches

These sweet babies owner contacted me for a special session to capture the memories of her Basset Hound, Sammy and his buddy Ralphie.  Sammy was recently diagnosed with throat cancer.  I could sympathize as I recently went through the loss of my lab, Brodie.  It's so important to capture your family members human or animals before they go.

Fall

Here in Texas we don't see the dramatic fall colors as you see in other states.  So fall to me is cooler temperatures, pumpkin patches, and a visit to the Texas State Fair.

Precious Newborn

The newborn stage goes by so quickly in the blink of an eye your little one turns 1 month.  This precious little guy was 10 days new during his newborn session.  Big brother was so sweet and excited about his new brother.

Project 52 Week 39 | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

Project 52
Week: 39
Theme: Squirrelly

I had to skip this theme last week as the Squirrels were hiding around our yard!  I finally caught one trying to hide an acorn in my neighbor's yard.  She wasn't too happy I was interrupting her mission.  After disturbing her she decided to make a run for it to our yard and quickly hide her nut then make it up the tree to chill out.

Meet Finley our newest family member!

We had to say goodbye to our almost 13 year old yellow lab a few weeks ago.  One of the hardest days of my life as I raised him myself before I met my husband and we had our children.

Mr. Fin is 15 weeks old and growing fast!  He is a Labradoodle although he looks more like a golden retriever with shorter fur.
