Theme: Be a Tourist in Your Hometown

Living in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with neighboring towns and cities all around us.  It makes it fun to go out and about and not have to travel too far.  Grapevine is one of my favorite places to visit and it's only 10 minutes away.  Yesterday we visited the Gaylord Texan Hotel to see the Summer Fest theme's "Alice in Wonderland".  The hotel has decor and art work to see in the atrium as well as a fun 3D maze.  We also did the scavenger hunt to reveal the riddle.

Theme: Reflections

We recently stayed on the Riverwalk in San Antonio and I loved the lights reflections on the water at night.

Week: 27
Theme: Collections

My Mini Teapot Collection! It all started with the cabbage with the ladybug on top at the bottom. Then my grandmother, other family, and friends started gifting them to me. I am out of space for the collection so this is it. As you can see there are a few additional items such as a tea cup and hand painted kids tea set.

Project 52
Week: 23
Theme: Architecture

Going back to week 23 since I didn't capture what I envisioned so I waited until our vacation in San Antonio, TX.  I love when downtown cities preserve old buildings in with the new.  This one can be seen from the Riverwalk.

Week: 26
Theme: Water

This theme was perfect timing except I had to wait a few days to share and now our Clickin Moms group is on to week 27.  We traveled to New Braunfels, TX to go to Schlitterbaun Waterpark with my sister and her family.  There are two separate parks that a tram will take you back and forth to the 2 sides.  A large majority of the water comes from the Comal River so it's nice and cold.  You could easily spend 2 days at this park, we only had 1 so we had to pick and choose rides.
