Happy Easter | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

Every year I look forward to the 3 crosses going up on The Mound.  Last year I didn't get a chance to take pictures up there so it was nice to be up there again.  The Mound is also the windiest spot in Flower Mound.

Project 52 Week 12 | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

Project 52
Week: 12
Theme: Comfort

When I think of the word "comfort" family, friends, pets, a favorite blanket, and foods come to mind.  However when I need the most comfort in my life I turn to the Bible.  My favorite passage is Proverbs 3:5-6

Lucky 7 | Flower Mound, TX Child Photographer

Our daughter turns 7 years old today!  Born a day before St. Patrick's day.  Can't believe it's been 7 years already since she joined our family.
This year I took her birthday portraits out at Texas Tulip's Farm in Pilot Point.  We usually go to Grapevine Botanical Gardens and I planned to take some more during Spring Break but unfortunately we had rain the entire week.  So sometime soon we will head over there for her "bridge" picture we take every year.

Project 52 Week 10 | Flower Mound, TX Photographer

Project 52
Week: 10
Theme: Movement

We've had a rainy past week which made it challenging to capture the movement I had in mind for the 10th week's theme. Our daughter received an early birthday present this weekend, a new bicycle!  What better way to ride it for the first time through the puddles.

Project 52 Week 9 | Denton County Photographer

Project 52
Week: 9
Theme: A Change of Scenery

I'm a little late posting this weeks theme.  There is a tulip farm I learned about last year but never made it out there. It's about 50 minutes from where we live so with the school week we were not able to go out there until yesterday. My children's Spring Break starts this week and I had hoped to go out there then but we have thunder storms in the forecast for the entire week. Last year the Tulip Farm closed their season early due to all the rain we had in our area last year. Yesterday we had beautiful weather so of course it was very crowded and difficult to avoid people in the background. At the same time it's nice to see so many people enjoying natures beauty! Tulips are my 2nd favorite flower so I've been dreaming of the visit!
