Back to School | Flower Mound, TX Child Photographer

September means back to Pre-School!  Here is my oldest daughter posing for some back to school portraits.  She's over 3 1/2 now and somewhat enjoying picture taking, as long as she has some fun!

Fun At the Park | Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Child Photographer

I met up with my best friend and her 4 beautiful children at Bear Creek Park in Keller, it's almost half-way between our homes. I wanted to check it out because at the end of the month I'm going to be doing a family portrait swap with another photographer possibly at this location. Plus I always have fun with these sweet children and the older boys were long overdue for their birthday portraits.

My Sister is Glowing | Flower Mound, TX Maternity Photographer

Here is my younger sister who is expecting her 1st child, a baby boy who will also be the 1st grandson on both sides of his family.  We are so excited to meet him this Fall and are counting down the days until his arrival!







Meaning of Teak: A tree of East Indies which furnishes an extremely strong durable timber highly valued for shipbuilding.  My sister and brother in-law have chosen this name for the strength of their unborn son who was diagnosed with Spina Bifida.  We pray that he is born strong and will over come all challenges in his life.

I Heart Faces "Beach Fun" Photo Challenge | DFW area, TX child Photographer

I was excited to see the new photo challenge theme for this week, "Beach Fun" from I Heart Faces.  I've shared this image previously after my family's 1st Beach Vacation to South Padre Island that was cut short due to Hurricane Alex back in June.  I love this shot of my daughter experiencing beach sand for the 1st time.  To change it up a bit I tried a different processing technique this time.
