Fall is my 2nd favorite season of the year.  Since here in Texas we don't get to see a lot of color change I'm sharing an image from our Local Pumpkin Patch.  Visiting the Pumpkin Patch is one of my favorite fall activities with the kids, we haven't missed a year yet!

 This is the first time I've seen a spider like this and I found two in my backyard in different sections of the yard! It's a Spiny Orb Weaver Spider and as scary as he looks it's pretty tiny.

I've been saving this theme knowing we were going to stop by Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX on our vacation.  As a child I remember driving past them but had never stopped to take a closer look.  So when planning my family's vacation this was a stop on the list.  Visitors are welcome to make their own mark of spray paint on them.  Several years ago an effort to restore them back to their original color was made to only have them graffitied again soon after.
