While the summer heat is upon us, this time of year sometimes works out best for family portraits. Especially for a busy family such as this beautiful family of four. We spoke about how it only gets harder to work around schedules as your kids grow. I love that this sweet family takes the time to set aside a moment to capture their yearly portrait. Children grow and change so fast, some years more than others. It's nice to look back on those years as they come and go in a blink of an eye.

It's always exciting to use a "new" location for a portrait session. This sweet family I've been capturing their family portraits since their handsome little boy was a newborn. He's growing up fast at age 3. They chose this beautiful park in Richardson, Prairie Creek Park.

It's Bluebonnet Season!

Every year I drag my family to a Bluebonnet patch or field for family portraits, it's one of our traditions. Spring is my favorite season and I look forward to seeing these flowers yearly. We all enjoy looking back to memories of when the children were tiny, they grow up so fast!

During the winter months, downtown areas make great locations. This beautiful family chose old town Grapevine. There are so many great spots along Main Street Grapevine including the train depot area.
