My babies together, my husband and I planted roses in our yard before our children were born.  This rose bush, Iceburg only blooms in Spring and Fall with Spring being it's fullest.  I have tried to get the girls in front of it every year but have failed a couple of times.  So tonight I grabbed my camera and snapped a few before all the petals drop.

 She found a bug and was trying to identify it.

Becoming a mother is an incredible experience in life.  Even as a young child I can remember day dreaming about being a mom one day.  My sister and best friend growing up would play a game with the Sears catalog and pick out our family from the models in the 1000 page book.  I imagined motherhood would begin for me in my 20's like my own parents.  However with life's twists and turns, I didn't become a mom until my early 30's.  In our world today it's common for women to delay motherhood for a later time in life.

I love how Iris's have amazing vibrant color!  This is not my own, maybe one day I will make some room in my garden to grow them.  I took this photo in Austin's Zilker Garden's.  They are grown near the beautiful rose garden.

2014 Spring is here and I'm enjoying watching my roses bloom, April is usually their peek month.  This year they have been a little later than normal due to colder temps. this past Winter.

These were taken with an 85mm lens as it's one of my favorite lenses, although a macro lens would be even better!

Easter Blessings | Family Photographer in Flower Mound, TX

Easter is my 2nd favorite holiday next to Christmas.  It's a time of celebration and new beginnings!

This Easter we got to celebrate with visiting our families.  We made a stop to visit my husband's grandparents who are both 99 years old.  Then my grandmother came to visit at my mom's house.

My two girls with their sweet cousin.  We look forward to meeting his baby sister late Summer.
