Last week we vacationed in Destin, Florida with my sister and her family.  It was our first visit there, I'm still amazed with the beauty there!  I look forward to returning in the future.  There were so many things that we didn't get to do.  The majority of our time was spent relaxing and having fun on the gorgeous beach.

Last week we vacationed with my sister's family in Destin, Florida.  The beaches are amazing there!  After growing up near Texas beaches in particular Galveston, it amazes me that Destin is actually part of the gulf too.  The water is a beautiful emerald green and you can see the bottom in shallow areas due to the white sand.  The sand is so soft too!  Stay tuned for more from our trip.

It's amazing how quickly a baby grows!  These precious twins are in my baby program that covers newborn, 6/7 months, and a final 12 month session.  It doesn't seem that long ago I was capturing their newborn portraits.  We were not able to take family shots so this time around mom and dad got to be in this session.

Cherish the early years!  

This sweet family of 5 has 3 children under the age of 4.  I remember the days when my children were younger, they kept me on my toes and had me smiling all the time.  I've learned being a photographer working with young children, you can't force them to sit and smile.  Sometimes you have to go with the flow and incorporate fun and play.  Those moments you can capture true emotions and smiles.

We got to celebrate our nephew's high school graduation this past weekend.  It's an exciting time to watch teens transition from grade school to their future.  The next few years they will blossom into adults on their own.
