Family of 5 Sneak Peek | Flower Mound, TX Family Photographer

I had a great time meeting the M. Family for their portraits. We headed out to an old local farm that has now been turned over to the town as a park.  There isn't much left but benches, old farm equipment, and beautiful trees.  It was perfect weather on Saturday!  The M children had fun exploring and picking Dandelions.

This little guy is 2 1/2 and is ready for fun!  He kept me on my toes, at this age they love to explore and show their independence.  I enjoyed following him around and capturing sweet moments.

I Heart Faces Photo Challenge "In the Orchard" | DFW/Flower Mound, TX Child & Family Photographer

This weeks Photo Challenge for I Heart Faces is "In the Orchard". I recently discovered we actually have an apple orchard within 30 miles from our home. A local playgroup that we are members of set-up a field trip to visit Henrietta Creek Orchard in Roanoak, TX. Fall in Texas | DFW, TX Photographer

My two favorite seasons are Spring and Fall, the temperatures are perfect in Texas, not too hot or too cold.  Well we don't get as cold as some states but it can get cold for Texans that used to a warm climate.  Fall is one of the perfect times for outdoor portraits and photographing your favorite things about the season.  I always look forward to picking out pumpkins.  I took my daughters to Calloways Fall Harvest on Saturday and these bumpy pumpkins caught my eye.

How fitting was it that Trendy Treehouse's theme for Shtter Love Tuesday is "Pumpkins".
